CHICKEN & SHRIMP JUMBALAYA

Ingredients:
12 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 green peppers, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1-14 1/2 oz can chopped tomatoes
1/3 cup tomato paste

1 can beef broth
1 tablespoons dried parsley
1 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound shelled shrimp
3 cups cooked rice

CROCKPOT

Directions:

  1. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces.
  2. Add all ingredients except shrimp and rice to crockpot.
  3. Cover and cook on Low: 8 to 10 hours, (High: 3 to 4 hours).
  4. Add shrimp last 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Stir in cooked rice when ready to serve.
